Axiom is available in the ChatGPT plugin store, so you can connect it in a couple of minutes without leaving ChatGPT. Once connected, ChatGPT can shop for you through Axiom's secure checkout: every purchase runs on a single-use virtual card, inside the spending rules you set.

Step 1: Find Axiom in the ChatGPT plugin store
Open ChatGPT and browse the plugin directory (or just ask ChatGPT for Axiom). Select Axiom and choose Connect.
ChatGPT will send you to Axiom to link your accounts.
Step 2: Sign in or create your account
If you already have an Axiom account, sign in. If you're new, create your account right there; email or Google both work. New users get a quick tour of how Axiom keeps agent spending safe: single-use cards, your rules, your approvals.
Step 3: Approve the connection
Review the permissions ChatGPT is requesting (viewing your account and transactions, and starting purchases within your spending rules), then click Approve. You'll land back in ChatGPT with Axiom connected.
Step 4: Set up your wallet
If you haven't already, sign in to your Axiom dashboard to link a card and review your spending rules. Axiom charges your linked card at the moment of each purchase. No deposits, no balances. Start with conservative limits; you can raise them anytime.
Step 5: Ask ChatGPT to buy something
Try something small: "Buy a bag of my usual coffee beans from my favorite roaster." ChatGPT hands the request to Axiom, which validates it against your rules, runs the checkout on its own servers, and issues a single-use card sized to the final total. If the purchase needs your approval, you'll get a link to review it first, and you can watch the whole thing live in your dashboard.

Troubleshooting
- ChatGPT can't find Axiom. Make sure you're browsing the official plugin directory, or ask ChatGPT to use Axiom by name.
- The connection flow timed out. Authorization links expire after a few minutes. Head back to ChatGPT and start the connection again. Your account is saved, so it only takes a moment.
- A purchase was blocked. Check your spending rules in the dashboard. Axiom blocks anything outside the limits you've set, before a card is ever issued.
- Want to disconnect? Remove Axiom from ChatGPT's connected apps settings, which immediately revokes its access. You can also revoke access from your Axiom settings.
