Introducing Axiom: The payment layer for AI agents

We're building the infrastructure that lets AI agents make real purchases, securely and on your terms.

For the past year, AI agents have gotten remarkably good at planning, reasoning, and taking action. But there's one thing they still can't do well: spend money on your behalf.

That's because payments require trust. You need to know what's being purchased, how much it costs, and that your card details are safe. Handing a credit card number to an AI agent doesn't cut it.

A payment layer for agents

Today we're launching Axiom, a payment layer built for AI agents.

You link a card. You set spending rules: daily limits, category restrictions, approval thresholds. Then you connect your AI agent through MCP (Model Context Protocol), and it can start making purchases. Axiom charges your linked card at the moment of each purchase.

Single-use cards, by default

Every transaction gets a single-use virtual card. The card is created with an exact spend limit, used once, and automatically closed. There's no card number sitting in a database waiting to be stolen. There's no way for an agent to overspend.

Every purchase comes with a full audit trail: the agent's reasoning, the merchant, the amount, and a receipt. You see exactly why every dollar was spent.

What people are building

We've been testing Axiom with early users who are automating everything from flight bookings to subscription renewals to grocery reorders. The pattern is the same: tell your agent what you need, and Axiom handles the payment.

Get started

We're letting users in gradually to make sure the experience is right. If you're interested, join our waitlist and we'll get you set up.
